Warm and Welcoming Sedona Villa Rentals
You won’t always find the warmth that is an integral part of our homes in an ordinary rental, and you definitely won’t find it in a sterile and cramped hotel room. Follow the path created by high-end flooring into the kitchen and take a moment to look around. Custom cabinetry, granite countertops, and high-end appliances fill the space, but the warmth offered is from more than the décor. This room is designed to take the chores out of meal prep and feels happiest when filled with the loving members of your family! Dining areas serve multiple purposes, offering a space to eat, chat, or pull out the board games that made your youth so much fun! In the living rooms, comfortable furnishings are the perfect spots to read, watch television, or close your eyes for “just a minute!” Naps are an important part of every vacation and our furniture makes it easy to fall into a quick and refreshing sleep. Neutral décor in our Sedona villas are designed to keep from interfering with your sleep; close the door to the world, slip between high thread count sheets, and lose yourself in happy dreams! Your days spent exploring the magic and beauty of Sedona will continue in the morning, and your sleep will recharge you for the adventures to come.
Beer and Wine
We have previously mentioned the Verde Valley Wine Trail and how Sedona is a stop on that trail, but beer lovers should not be worried they won’t be able to find their brews during their Arizona vacation. Oak Creek Brewery offers a couple of locations in town, one at 2050 Yavapai Drive and the other in the Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village, 336 AZ-179 Suite D201. Try a flight of brews to go along with your plate of ribs at the Tlaquepaque branch or simply enjoy the night sky on the patio by the fire pit with your favorite beer! Both spots offer a casual vibe and a wait staff that knows their stuff; Arizona is an up and comer in the brewery world as well, and the choices go down easy!
If you are a wine drinker and your traveling partner prefers beer, Tlaquepaque might be your ideal location. The Secret Garden Café at Tlaquepaque, 336 State Route 179, Ste F101, has a delicious selection of Arizona wines guaranteed to make your taste buds stand up and take notice and also offers craft brews, handmade cocktails, and the best margaritas in the state! Sip and savor as you sample items off their happy hour menu, including Hummus Pizza and Queso Diva, and if you have done some shopping beforehand, enjoy these moments off your feet as you go through your purchases!
A Taste of Sedona
Although our Sedona villas offer fully equipped kitchens and kitchenettes, it would truly be a shame to come all this way and not experience a true taste of Sedona! The restaurants in the area give guests an authentic flavor of the Southwest, but also offer other international delights, and of course, many of your favorite all-American meals!
89 Agave, located at 254 N Highway 89A, presents spicy and flavorful Mexican meals that will haunt your dreams long after you have returned to your Midwest home town, and their prickly pear margaritas are destined to be your newest obsession! Hiro’s Sushi & Japanese Kitchen, 1730 AZ-89A, is famous for their deliciously fresh sushi and innovative Japanese entrees, while those perhaps seeking a romantic meal from another ancient country will fall in love over the classic Italian dishes served at Dahl & Di Luca Ristorante, located at 2321 AZ-89A. Offering upscale food and the most romantic of ambiances, this last restaurant is perfect for a special occasion. For American food with an interesting twist, the Cowboy Club Grille offers Bison Pot Roast, Elk Chops, and an Angus Beef hamburger that fills all the empty places in your stomach as it feeds your need for a juicy and delicious patty of meat. Oaxaca, a Sedona staple for over eight decades, is where we go when we are craving some super spicy habanero salsa and an icy margarita that just make the summer heat that much more bearable!
Speaking of salsa, you may not realize how easy it is to make your own, so you can have some on hand for those moments you decide to stay in and enjoy our Stay Sedona amenities. Simply purchase tomatoes, onions, jalapeños, garlic, cilantro, cumin, salt, and lime from the grocery store and throw it all together in the blender that is more than likely sitting on the kitchen counter! Add more tomatoes and less jalapeños if you live life on the milder side, and if you love the heat, substitute a single habanero pepper for one of the jalapeños and let the good taste begin! If you are unsure of what your tolerance level is, start with a single jalapeño and add more to taste. If you absolutely can’t handle the heat, remember that most of the heat is in the seeds, and if you carefully remove them, (we recommend wearing gloves) you will have a mild treat that you can continue to make please your family with after you return home!
When the Sun Sets Behind the Red Rocks
Unlike many tourist towns throughout the world, Sedona does not roll up the sidewalks when night falls, and even though our nightlife might not compare to those in larger cities like New York or Los Angeles, we like to think there is still a lot of fun to be had here! Find the perfect pour of Guinness at Mooney’s Irish Pub, located at 671 AZ-179 in the Hillside Shopping Center. Offering live entertainment, your favorite Irish pub grub, darts, karaoke, and an ambience filled with fun and laughter, Mooney’s may become your regular spot during your Sedona sojourn! For those who brought their dancing shoes on their journey to the Southwest, the Sound Bites Grill, located at 101 N State Route 89A has the dance floor on which you can perfect your moves. Also offering patio seating and views of the Red Rocks that we can’t live without, your night on the town promises to be one you will never forget—especially if you try their nachos! We would eat them for every meal if we could and never tire of their taste.
All Those Stars
When the sun sinks behind the mountains, the magic of nighttime in Sedona will entice you to step outside and lose yourself in the beauty of another night in paradise. Every home we offer is different, so depending on the property you rent you may find yourself relaxing in one of our Sedona rentals with a pool under the velvety skies alight with a billion stars, or simply sitting on the porch of your Sedona villa with the rest of your family, laughing, talking, and feeling the mystical properties of the night in your soul.
