Easter Bunny Express
One of the area’s most popular attractions is the Verde Canyon Railroad that offers several different seasonal excursions. Each year the Saturday before Easter the Verde Canyon Railroad hosts the Easter Bunny Express where the Easter Bunny himself will be on hand handing out treats and hugs. The kids can have their photo taken with him too as you ride the train through the area. Adults can also have fun with the special Bloody Mary adult beverage that will be served during the voyage. The Verde Canyon Railroad will take off on Saturday April 16th at 11:30 AM for an hour and a half ride.
Celebration of Spring
Get ready for a family friendly event that provides all kinds of fun with the upcoming 12th Annual Celebration of Spring taking place on Saturday April 16th in Sedona. This annual event is part carnival and part Easter celebration. Kids will have a blast with the inflatable bounce houses, petting zoo with mini ponies, carnival rides, and of course an Easter Egg Hunt. Thousands of eggs (over 22,000 in fact!) will be hidden encouraging the children to look all over. Egg hunts will be restricted to children ages 12 and younger giving the little kids a shot at finding plenty. Local vendors will be on hand selling hand made goods and delicious food. This event is free for adults and children 12 years and younger will have a $5 admission cost. This year’s event will take place from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM giving you a chance to see the beautiful Sedona sunset right before you leave!
