Lumberjack Lodge

This spacious cabin is full log construction! It boasts a large parking area for all of your toys, and has a huge redwood wrap-around covered deck on three sides ensuring a weather-free entry into the home. Make sure to spend some down time on the deck in the adirondack or sling chairs, bbqing your favorite dish on the gas grill, or soaking your cares away in the brand new hot tub!

The front of the cabin is floor to ceiling windows, giving way to a breathtaking view of nature’s finest. You might just see a moose or elk walking by! After a long day of your favorite activity, leave your boots and gear in the mud room, throw your favorite snowmobiling pants or sight-seeing shorts in the new washer and dryer, and slip into the claw foot tub or the oversized tile shower with wand and rain head diverter in the master bathroom. In addition to under tile heat and kitchen-height countertops in the bathroom, the master suite boasts a king size Tempurpedic mattress, ample closet space, and a large window with a honeycomb shade.

The second floor has vaulted ceilings throughout, and the loft with two queen Sealy Posturepedic beds gives your guests both comfort and impressive views out the front of the cabin! Guests also have their choice of a large bedroom with a queen bed or king Aireloom bed, both with windows facing the rear of the cabin. They’ll also appreciate the upgraded shared bathroom with under tile heat, oversized tile shower with wand and rain head diverter, and a generous linen closet upstairs.

You’ll feel right at home in the well appointed kitchen with granite countertops, french door refrigerator with ice maker, farm sink, stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, and pantry. After a delicious home cooked meal, top off the night by playing your favorite game on the exquisite dining table, or cozying up next to the living room propane fireplace and watching a movie on the satellite tv, dvd player, or streaming via Wi-Fi on the new 4K smart tv. The onsite commercial-grade cellular booster enhances service from a second tower, improving 4G services for additional carriers, and is wired into cabin.

This spectacular home is conveniently located close to the paved county road, just a short distance down a maintained neighborhood dirt road. The property is local forest on manicured lawn with automatic sprinklers, aspens, and majestic pine trees with lots of space to relax and enjoy the quiet tranquility in your personal resort setting. Across the road is mostly undeveloped and provides an extended local forest setting.

Right outside the door is access to hundreds of miles of groomed trails maintained by the county, with warming huts and boondocking on world class mountains. Snowmobile, ATV, or Jeep from the cabin in any direction to destinations including Two-Top to West Yellowstone, Mesa Falls Scenic Byway, Warm Springs, or beyond the cabin west to the Jefferson Mountains and Keg Springs. Be sure to pick up your free local trail map! The West Yellowstone entrance is approximately 30 miles away!

World class fishing with several available guide services on local streams, rivers, and lakes (Snake River and Henry’s Lake). Island Park Reservoir’s public boat launch is approximately 2.5 miles from the cabin at McCrea Bridge. Harriman State Park is located on Hwy 20 near the Mesa Falls Scenic Byway cut-off. Open between June 1st and October 31st, the Sawtell Peak Road is a twelve mile gravel road that climbs to the top of the 9875 foot summit of Sawtell Peak for a breathtaking 360-degree view of the Island Park caldera, Yellowstone, the Centennial and Madison Valley in Montana, Island park Reservoir, and the Grand Tetons in Wyoming.

**Kabino is the only company offering FREE trash service to its guests! Book with us to avoid hauling your daily trash to the landfill!

WINTER: 4 WHEEL DRIVE, SNOW TIRES, AND HIGH GROUND CLEARANCE REQUIRED IN SNOWY CONDITIONS. If your vehicle has minimal ground clearance or highway tires, even if it's an all-wheel drive vehicle, you MAY get stuck. We are not liable for driving conditions or guests getting stuck if they are not driving appropriate vehicles with appropriate tires and/or do not follow our driving directions. We can certainly refer you to a tow or plow company at your cost and tow/plow company's schedule/availability, should you need it. The county plows the roads. Please look at updated weather and road conditions, as sometimes the pass is closed temporarily while the county catches up on plowing. We will do our best to have the driveway plowed after every 6+ inches of snowfall. Please note that we are at the mercy of the snow plow company’s schedule. We highly recommend bringing a shovel for emergencies. Please know that we will do our best to accommodate your needs, but we cannot be held liable for driving conditions.
